“When the light, pattern, color and negative space work together, at that moment you know it’s perfect. The balance is wonderful and the mood is one of harmony. This is the best way to describe what it feels like to look at the world and try to capture it on canvas. This is why I paint.
The Fauve artists as well as post-impressionist, Edouard Vuillard, Pierre Bonnard have been the greatest sources of inspiration for me.
My passion is that all children have the opportunity to explore their own unique talents. As an artist, I work with the local public schools to help keep art in our children’s lives as well as enriching our community.”
